The OSA has established an account at NorthStar Credit Union, making all OSA members eligible for membership in the credit union with all the benefits that accompany it. NorthStar Credit Union is a member-owned and operated, not-for-profit financial cooperative. It is a full-service financial institution that is out to satisfy its customers instead of shareholders. To become a member, you only need open a $5 savings "share" account (called "share" because it essentially makes you a shareholder in NorthStar). That account entitles you to better rates on home equity and auto loans as well as mortgage rates. You can also take advantage of free credit repair programs, IRA accounts, educational savings accounts, tax planning, Platinum Visa credit cards and other financial services.
